I've never ever crocheted in my life, and I managed to make this cute little narwhal in one day thanks to this set. The set came with everything and they was plenty of yarn and stuffing so I never worked about running out. I didn't have a problem with the yarn splitting even though I made mistakes, which I read online is due to special yarn used by this company that is geared towards beginners.

First timer - this was great! Instructions were clear and perfect for a beginner. My Fred is not even near perfect but very fun to complete.

My 13 year old daughter is talented and able to crochet so easily. She has tried to teach her 11 year old sister who badly wants to learn to crochet. The 11 year old could never get the hang of it. I bought her this kit and it was a life saver for her confidence. The instructions mixed with the easy peasy yarn made it easy for her to finally learn to crochet. She learned it through the QR code without any other help. She is loving it so much that she even took it to school to work on during her free time. The price point was so worth it to help my daughter learn a new skill.

I am so excited with how this turned out!

My 6 year old daughter and I have been learning how to crochet for the first time and this kit has been absolutely awesome! My daughter is doing the entire thing herself as I just act as a guide and the online tutorial is the perfect pace, simplifies the instructions, and is easy to follow. She is about half way through creating the lion and it has been an incredible way to spend quality time together being creative. Thank you for creating such an amazing product. Buy this! What a fun project! I broke my ankle and wanted to use my time to learn something new, and this kit really delivered! The videos walk you through everything you need to know, pausing between each little step, so you don’t get lost. I chose the lion design to gift to my grandmother who is a Leo and unfortunately isn’t doing well. This particular design was more complex than I thought, and I did make a few mistakes, but the final product still looks decent if a tad lopsided! I felt very accomplished for my first ever stab at crochet and learned a great deal of stitches that I feel I can replicate on other projects. I appreciate the videos so much and being able to rewatch them to understand the particulars about how to construct various stitches. There was really only one complicated stitch step that I couldn’t quite figure out from the tutorial, but after creating 37 of the stitches to build the mane of the lion, I finally got the hang of it! Very cute, very bent toward success for beginners, user-friendly, clear, and encouraging! Saw this in a NYTimes Wirecutter article and was so glad it came across my screen when it did! I think the experience was worth the price!

If you’re learning to crochet or want to learn how to crochet, I cannot recommend this enough! This kit comes with everything you need (literally) so all you have to do is open it. If you’re a visual learner it comes with a QR code to scan for a video tutorial and goes slowly step by step! I found this the most helpful and it really got me into crocheting. It also has a normal pattern page if you want to try on your own or prefer to read the pattern! Super cute and makes for a great gift. There’s so many different Woobles to choose from too, so the variety is great (for example there’s a penguin, aliens, holiday themed ones such as a reindeer, and more)! Seriously get it
